I want to share deep alpha you don't want to miss. Solscriptions and @FossilsOnChain which hold significance you haven't stumbled upon yet. You might be familiar with Open Solmap, Sols SPL-20, or Solana punks as they’ve been leading in top volume. All of these fall under solscriptions. Solscription is the hottest trend on @solana, functioning similarly to other chain inscriptions but with several unique advantages. The platform is created by @LibrePlex as an answer to metaplex overpriced monopoly. Why does it matter and what do we all have in common? We’re decentralized inscriptions on a centralized chain, making us truly immutable and beyond the reach of censorship. We’ve arrived here in order and will remain this way indefinitely, or at least until Solana is unplugged. You can search for inscription numbers (#) similar to how it’s done with Bitcoin ordinals. In fact, anything below sub-1k is invaluable today, with pieces trading for whole bitcoins. All inscriptions are like one big family. Sub-1k is part of sub-10k which is part of sub-100k which is part of sub-1M. There are currently whopping 1,313,795 NFTs inscribed on-chain. Now, what’s the deal with Fossils? With @blockrons, we constitute the only complete 100-piece pure sub-1k NFT collection. Inscriptions have made us timeless, like CryptoPunks of Solana. Regardless of whether there’s an active community or not, we’ll always have our place in the sub-1k list. Our birth story is among the most beautiful tales ever, despite many things that could have gone wrong. It all began when @Nicktrades20 and D12 pondered creating a collection from mutable inscriptions. (Mutable inscriptions allow editing of NFT data until it becomes immutable; fossils nowadays are purely immutable.) Solscriptions were so new at that point of time there was no other options than this. @deathsdo0r and @traderexxx discovered @0xChrisSaturn to craft the artwork for the collection. The timeframe was tight, yet the newly formed community was eager, resulting in a hundred 1/1 pixel art pieces ready in no time. The artwork is outstanding, many are very relatable, others follow current trends and some honors the good folk of Solana. @fa1rtrade handled the tech side seamlessly. After artwork was readied. We had picking event where we individually selected our art pieces in the order of final payment. God it was phenomenal. In short, we were a group of strangers who convened on the sub-1k discord, trusting each other enough to relinquish update authorities. Mutable inscriptions were trading at 10-15 solana each at that time, culminating in approximately 1000-1500 Solana worth of trust trades. If this isn’t a success story, then what is?
