This boiling will condemn the poor. Farmers, street vendors, factory workers, artisans will undergo unimaginable suffering working outdoors. Most fossil fuel used for cooling will be cornered by the rich. We are looking at a heat divide being put in place.

The boiling continues in #India. Millions have no access to air conditioning, and water supplies in many regions are being stretched. A global 2C increase will make many parts of this region #uninhabitable during the #summer months. #Adaptation and #mitigation are urgent.
