I know that a lot of eyes are on my situation, but I'm trying to put as little pressure on myself as possible. It's important for me to stay fit and perform to my best until I have a bit of time to calm down. Then I can take time to think about everything. I think we'll know more during the winter break."

🚨🔴 Understand that regarding the contract extension of Jamal #Musiala, everything is going according to plan. However, it will take a little longer, partly due to the tight schedule.

• When you were nine, you wrote a poem about how you were nervous before training at the Chelsea academy, but not when you were on the pitch. Where does your calm come from? Musiala: "I grew up like that and learned to play with a clear head when I was younger. Before the game there's time to think and feel excited. In the days and hours before kick-off I'm preoccupied with everything that could, should, and must happen. On the pitch I switch that off. And after the game I can look back and see which actions were good and which were not so good."
