In last weekend's #dnd game I had a level 20 player trick an ancient copper dragon using nothing more than his wits a loaded dice he got at the beginning of the campaign from the charlatan background. 🤣🎲🙌

@GhostloreGames It’s a mixture of both, generated off from donjon.bin.sh/fantasy/calend…

What sorts of stats or data do you keep track of in your #dnd campaigns? I keep a leaderboard of monsters slain by my players and a list of their most memorable combat highlights. 📝📈🎲
English

@unkagames Oh, nice. How did you handle the calendar? Is it similar to a standard "real-world" calendar or did you go with something more fantasy?
English

@GhostloreGames I keep a calendar. One of my players is a were-Aarakocra so I gotta track moon phases. I also tracked side quests which they completely abandoned and I’m ok with that.

What's the funniest word replacement your phone's autocorrect does because of #dnd? Mine always changes "Getting" to "Grung". 🐸

@skiesoffortune I like this idea, but I'm wondering how I could counter flying players. 🤔
Maybe a fake-out. Reverse gravity and when they use their flying abilities, maybe magnetize the walls as well? 😈
English

@GhostloreGames Reverse Gravity traps in rooms with high ceilings, maybe?

Looking for some ideas that would challenge a 20th level #dnd party. Anyone have any combat encounters, puzzels, traps, or scenarios they'd like to share?

My #dnd players are insatiable when it comes to shopping in game... Anyone have cool ideas for places for players to spend money? 💸🛍

Has anyone ever run a #dnd dungeon based on the concept of liminal spaces? I think it'd be really interesting and scary... but it seems difficult to convey as a DM. 🤔

@gameshop99 Yeah, I think it would work really well in a modern day setting with no (or minimal) magic. 🤔

@GhostloreGames As a Quick few thoughts..
Short rests take twice as long. Long Rests have a chance of counting as Short.
Survivial would depend on the supplies they have on them, their luck and what their skills are like.
Resting is hard, Spells not so helpful or easy to recover.
English

@GrimmRayne Yeah, that does make sense. A full party of players in a liminal space is less scary than being totally alone... 🤔
English

@GhostloreGames It's definitely an idea I think is cool but ya have to be careful. Part of the scariness if liminal spaces is the fact that it's lonely and sparse. If ya stsrt putting people in there it changes the dynamic. There was a cool post in it the other day
