Cause it surpasses PM in every aspect and never meant to copy it, but exceed and transform it into something better, which it did great

Dark Deception pisses me off because it fundamentally misunderstands the game it's adapting in favor of artifical, unbalanced difficulty. Fixing this is the easiest thing in the world too and it sucks because the game COULD be good, but its just. Not.

@50shadesof_gabe @artdstuf So what’s your point again? Are we delusional? Cause so far all what you mentioned is literally a DD’s feature, except in PM it’s same thing one thing with same maze and mechanic where in DD it constantly evolves. I genuinely think you confuse DD and PM here

@GoGamesLLC @artdstuf another thing that PM does better than DD is enemy variety. each ghost serves a unique purpose and works together towards your defeat some are basic chasers, while others attempt to corner you. in DD, it's just one or two gimmicks in every level

@50shadesof_gabe @artdstuf Also, you literally just said that in PM there are ghosts who chase you and who corner you, so it’s basically boxed up, and it’s basically what the enemies are designed in DD as well, they never chase you in one line.

@artdstuf It just makes the game frustrating for casuals. The reason why the watchers and sewer levels feel most fair and fun (at least for me) is because of the interactivity with the enemies and you can actually use their gimmicks for your advantage. More levels should have that tbh.

@artdstuf Real, I gave up on the hospital level cause it’s incredibly difficult. Invisible fast enemies where you need a power up to even see them just sucks to play.

@artdstuf the only slight help you get in the game atm is audio cues (gold watchers, agatha the teddies and nurses) and slight visual cues (ducks only from what ive seen) which barely do anything to help even with powerup advantage, i love the concept and story but the gameplay is so bad

This is an ISSUE. Pac-Man the arcade game is only truly "fair" because of your visibility of the enemies. You know their positions and patterns at all times and are able to strategize on the fly. How the hell am I meant to effectively play around an enemy I can't see?

@artdstuf You're supposed to listen to hear the location of the threats, but I know that's easier said than done for some levels. A band-aid fix for this problem would to give the player a health bar to allow a few mistakes
