@mndamico Elliott’s confirmed it earlier. If he has a high ankle sprain he wouldn’t play this year. But it would have been nice for a summer of recovery and to be around next fall. The window is now.

Received confirmation earlier this afternoon, but wanted to be fair to process.
This is a big decision for Michael to circle back. Habs fans will be frustrated, but Hage will be plug and play for MTL next yr after more seasoning .
Expect big things from Michigan next season.

While mulling over the options for next season, hearing a return to Michigan remains a possibility for Michael Hage. That being said, it wouldn't be due to any potential knock on relationship with MTL. But both sides weighing the opportunity/developmental curve for the player.

@BWildeMTL @HabsArsenalYeg I find it very interesting that while MSL or Robidas doesn’t trust Arber, the Canadiens social media has him in a lot of clips and highlights. If Matheson got the same treatment as Arber for mistakes it would be a meritocracy. Every coach has a whipping boy.

@BWildeMTL Point of clarification, “if” Matheson is terrible with Guhle then why should he be able to play top pair with Dobson. If MSL wants to keep the room honestly Matheson is third pair at best. His game was exposed last night -3.
