@CBSSunday It was so wonderful to watch Bucky heal and get ready for his 2nd chance at life. An incredible dog who made a lot of friends here.

Bucky, a Maryland dog found in the woods tangled in a tree with a gunshot wound to his face, survived an “unsuccessful execution." He has successfully recovered and was ready for adoption, according to HART for Animals, Inc.

A Maryland dog was applauded by HART for Animals, Inc staff, an organization that rescues and finds homes for pets. The dog, Bucky, recovered from being shot in the face, in what appeared to be an “unsuccessful execution.”

It was so wonderful to watch Bucky heal and get ready for his 2nd chance at life. What a sweet dog.
