Today gr. 3-5 have a visit from Katie Covino, an author of You Got a Phone Now Read This Book, focusing on staying safe online and maintaining a healthy life balance. Thank you HPS Wellness Comm. for organizing the visit and the @HarvardTrust for purchasing books for the school.

Thank you @HarvardTrust for funding our 5th Grade collaborative unit on the Underground Railroad last spring. Students engaged in meaningful learning experiences as they worked to create their own version of a quilt. @HPS_Tech @Drlindadwight

STEAM is happening at HES! As we prepare for our STEAM lessons, Grade 2 is in need of yarn donations (any type/color) and single face corrugated cardboard for a cross-curricular project. TIA!

Kind of getting excited about these Final Vocabulary Projects rolling in. Other promising projects: a vocabulary playlist, a list of TV show references using vocabulary, a book review using vocabulary... (This is all way better than a test. 😁)
