Read em & weep: My question is how are we sending astronauts to the moon without the complexity of landing on the lunar surface like we did in 1969 where the astronauts spent over 21hours on the lunar surface then rendezvoused back to the shuttle & return to Earth in 8 days but this mission (that is not landing on the lunar surface but merely orbiting) is going to take 10 days? You’re telling me that despite have infinitely more complex, advanced technology, & orbital understanding that it takes 2 whole days longer to do a less complex mission than it took 57 years ago? Apollo 11 mission took 8 days in 1969. Artemis II will take 10 days in 2026. Apollo 11 spent 21.5hrs on the lunar surface before returning. Artemis is doing a partial orbit (flyby) that will take 10-15hrs before returning. That math ain’t mathing.
