Tu as, comme par hasard, spontanément comparé ce maire noir à un chef de tribu préhistorique répartissant la nourriture entre les membres de cette tribu. Alors même qu’il rappelait les règles LÉGALES pour les fonctionnaires d’autorité dans les collectivités locales. Non non, tu n’as pas qualifié cela de « clientélisme » (ce qui aurait déjà été erroné), tu as comparé Bagayoko à un chef primitif d’avant la civilisation. C’est la seule référence qui t’est venue à l’esprit. Ton ignorance (habituelle hélas) aurait été compréhensible, mais là c’est du racisme spontané chimiquement pur. Qui est juste lamentable.

L'alternance, je l’ai décrochée grâce à mon talent et à mes compétences. Diversité tu dis ? J’étais la seule rebeu du service économie. Que des blancs déconnectés dans cette rédaction. Cite-moi plus de 3 journalistes noirs et arabes visibles à France TV (hors sécurité et femmes de ménage), sachant qu’il y a environ 2 000 journalistes employés. Tu penses duper qui ?
Tout le monde sait que ces grands médias formatent les racisés et que leur quota diversité n’est qu’un prétexte pour faire croire qu’ils sont en cohérence avec la démocratie. La réalité, c’est qu’ils veulent des petits soldats qui pensent pareil, qui ont la même voix, dépourvu de toute personnalité.
Eux et toi n’avez rien compris au journalisme.

Absolutely!!! Why are we STILL requiring students to take foreign language in high school when there is virtually no benefit. Do high schoolers become fluent in the foreign language? No. Does it have a high ROI on cognitive development and brain health? Also no. Students’ brains would benefit more from 60 minutes of aerobic exercise than from sitting in a foreign language class. Also, we all have translators in our pockets. This is one of the many requirements in education whose time has expired. Public ed must stop wasting students’ time.

scholars of children's literature have an historical perspective that others don't have, certainly not children. from that perspective the Harry Potter series is not serious literature since it is "filled with cliches"--but from the perspective of a child reader, the series is entertaining pop culture; & for children all / most reading is good.

@JoyceCarolOates I agree, but Bloom wasn't a scholar of children literature and a scholar of children literature would not speak like that. They would not receive the works uncritically but they would certainly not dissmiss it in those terms!
