Thank you @HeatherVatcher @BritanniaLLC for sharing the story "Ambitious Girl" in recognition of International Women's Day.  Students enjoyed hearing such a powerful story celebrating ambitious girls everywhere and their power to impact the world!

Sometimes it’s the quiet, simple moments that bring joy.

Ms Harlow and Ms Hallas’s grade 3s collaboratively explored a variety of building tools to make strong and stable structures.

Inspired by @JodyKohoko and her team at OCDSB and the work of @GholdyM here are some considerations when including Indigenous content in your classroom

Mrs. Lewis’s gr3s worked in groups to plan and design structures to hold a cup of coins. They explored and tested different ways to make their structure stronger and stable. How might we use this information to revise our plan? What materials might we use? #SchoolLibraryJoy

Ms. Auger’s Ks wanted to learn about hermit crabs. We explored PebbleGo and found out that, as they grow, they move to new shells. This led to more questions. One students wondered if turtles do the same thing. Great questions coming from our youngest students. #SchoolLibraryJoy
