Ms Auger’s K class are learning more about worms and vermicomposting. They’re very excited to learn new and interesting facts. They’ve grown so much this year by asking good questions and are developing their inquiry skills. @BritanniaPS @PDSB_Libraries

Mrs Hallas’s & Mrs Forestieri’s classes exploring new tools and considering how they might use them to share their learning. They are teaching others (including teachers) as they discover new features. Great to have experts in the room. @BritanniaPS #SchoolLibraryJoy

Mrs. Lewis’s gr3s worked in groups to plan and design structures to hold a cup of coins. They explored and tested different ways to make their structure stronger and stable. How might we use this information to revise our plan? What materials might we use? #SchoolLibraryJoy

Ms. Auger’s Ks wanted to learn about hermit crabs. We explored PebbleGo and found out that, as they grow, they move to new shells. This led to more questions. One students wondered if turtles do the same thing. Great questions coming from our youngest students. #SchoolLibraryJoy

Made my week!

At the end of our coding each sessions, we reflected on what went well, what was difficult, and what we enjoyed most. The best was a gr2 shared “I liked when we failed over and over again and then we finally figured it out together.” #BetterTogether #SchoolLibraryJoy @peel21st

Celebrating the learning/success of our friends. You could hear the joy in the library.

The coding fun continues. Love how well the students work together, support each other, and celebrate each other’s learning. My favourite moment today was hearing one student say excitedly,“You did it E!” followed but cheering. @peel21st @PDSB_Libraries #SchoolLibraryJoy
