They used to be called "fat cats." Now they are called "loafy cats."
These cats are pets that do not fight, but can use armor and collect items.
Some players said that the game is now "unplayable."

photographs of Kash Patel. his resume. personal and work correspondence dating back to 2010..
and the DOJ just confirmed the material "appears authentic"..
this is a public execution..
think about what 2010 to 2019 covers.. Patel wasn't even FBI Director then.. he was handling cases, running investigations, working inside the intelligence community for years before anyone knew his name..
Iran doesn't just have his inbox.. they have 15 years of his life..
every case.. every contact.. every conversation he thought was buried..
and they didn't sell it.. they didn't ransom it.. they posted it publicly and put his name on a list..
"he will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims"..
The FBI Director became a warning sign... chills down my spine..

Hackers published photographs of Kash Patel and his purported resume 3. The narrative that Crimson Desert has a bad story is so fucking confusing to me. The developer even apologized for it.
Meanwhile:
• Better story than Dragon's Dogma 2 (by a mile).
• Better story than Where Winds Meet (by a fucking continent).
• Better story than Dragon Age Veilguard (which game journalists raved about, by a fucking galaxy).
• Better story than Silent Hill F.
• Better story than Monster Hunter Wilds (by a fucking continent).
• Better story than AC: Shadows (by a fucking continent).
• Better story than 90% of "popular for their story" gacha games like Wuthering Waves, ZZZ, etc.
• Better story than Starfield by a fucking galaxy.
Yet not one of these developers apologized, and many of the games on this list weren't even criticized for their stories at all. Make it make sense.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for getting better stories in the future of PA games. But this narrative is just absurd. It's like a false high school rumor that spirals out of control or something.

Pearl Abyss CEO Huh Jin-young has made it clear that Crimson Desert will continue to receive new patches to improve the game. He also confirmed that there are no plans for a paid DLC, and they are prioritizing free updates. Huh also apologized for the poor storytelling. Hanging rapists won't start happening until we start toughening up and hanging the politicians and lawmakers responsible for these things.
Society doesn't want to accept that we're WAY past the point of mob violence being a literal requirement for society to heal/move forward. Mob rule isn't pretty, but sometimes it's necessary.
