💙💛 Congratulations to Professor Dolores O’Riordan, the new Chair of the Board of Directors of Una Europa, one of Europe’s leading university alliances and a major driving force behind transforming education across the continent. 🌍 Vice-President for Global Engagement at UCD, Professor O’Riordan was appointed to the role at the group’s General Assembly hosted by University College Dublin. The presidents and rectors from the 11 Una Europa partner institutes, European Commission policymakers, Irish government representatives, academics, professional staff and students were among the attendees at the General Assembly in Dublin. Aimed at transcending traditional geographical and disciplinary boundaries, Una Europa is a partnership of universities working together towards a virtual ‘multi-campus’ – a University of the Future, that will enable student and staff mobility between member institutions. Together, its 11 partner universities represent over 500,000 students and count almost 100,000 university staff.
