Simple answer is because it’s safer than you. It can see 360 degrees at every moment and avoid accidents that humans had no ability of avoiding. Plus, the convenience that it gives, especially in dense traffic. Plus, the very version you tested is already outdated. It will get only better, safer, and have more superhuman abilities over time.
