In the east, you call me wren, my hair is lantern-lit your fingers god-like braiding time into my vignette. We breathe as wind skimming onyx waters, a sentient kiss without measure. There are no jealous storms, only miles of savannah lifting its skirt to a blue moon. #vss365

I spent my childhood sitting under her branches, braiding wildflowers to hang on her needles as high as I could reach; She spent her treehood dropping beetles onto my head, offering sap and a place away from the world when I needed a safe spot for a secluded catharsis. #vss365

She lifts me lilting soft wings meant for another a soft, sudden salvation that comes upon letting go rarely does it happen I hold on by habit old moments veiled in vellichor you never found use for I hoard close to my chest waiting for some foolish angel to love me back. #poem
