Of course, it is for them. They push for a ground invasion from their perch of safety 7,000 miles away. I’ve said before, taking an 8 square-mile flat rock with 2,500 Marines is the easy part. Holding it could prove to be a death sentence for hundreds or thousands of our Marines and Soldiers. At only 15 miles from the Iranian mainland, our Marines wouldn't be "occupying" an island - they’d be sitting in a fishbowl. They would be subjected to a relentless, multi-directional - 360 degree bombardment of: Massed Artillery from the coastline, Mobile Ballistic Missiles launched from deep inside the Iranian interior, Saturation Drone Swarms designed to bleed our defense systems dry, and Suicide Surface Boats driven by kamikaze religious zealots literally dying to be rewarded in heaven. @benshapiro, @marklevinshow, and @LindseyGrahamSC have the luxury of being "bold" with other people's lives.
