Pi Squared : a universal layer for the future of Web3 It has been more than ten years that we live with blockchains. Bitcoin proved that we can create an unbreakable ledger. Ethereum opened the door to smart contracts. Then Cosmos, Polkadot, Solana or Avalanche all tried to solve scale and interoperability in their own way. But despite their differences, they all rely on the same foundation ; global consensus. It is what provides security, but it is also what limits speed, cost and compatibility. Pi Squared wants to break through this ceiling. Not by replacing blockchains, but by adding a universal layer of verifiable proofs that work independently from consensus.

Claude Code 2.1.90 just dropped with a new /powerup command Run it and you get interactive lessons that teach you how to use Claude Code right inside the tool. It's solid and has a lot of potential for learning directly in the terminal. Curious how the UI will look in VSCode and Claude Code Desktop. Going to keep digging into this new release!

Today we're excited to announce NO_FLICKER mode for Claude Code in the terminal It uses an experimental new renderer that we're excited about. The renderer is early and has tradeoffs, but already we've found that most internal users prefer it over the old renderer. It also supports mouse events (yes, in a terminal). Try it: CLAUDE_CODE_NO_FLICKER=1 claude

The latest network stress test put serious pressure on our BoN infrastructure, especially on the gateway-facing observers and the indexers. A few important details on the current setup: - one observer per shard behind the gateway - well below spec for sustained stress testing; on mainnet we use multiple observers per shard for load balancing - a single indexing cluster accessed by all services - on mainnet, different services use different clusters - a single observer per shard (one squad), with notifier, serving internal services - on mainnet we run multiple squads, and these roles are split across different machines. Regular API requests and VM queries are also served by different machine types there We also found a misconfiguration on BoN for VM queries. Under stress, it led to request buildup and out-of-memory issues, which affected both the API and the gateway. We are fixing this. Over the last two days of testing, we also uncovered optimizations needed for Supernova when the network is hit with very high transaction volume continuously over long periods. These issues only surface under sustained heavy load. The optimization has already been prepared and tested internally, and we will likely deploy it on BoN as well. One clear lesson: running stress tests like this while also keeping infra costs low is a challenge on its own. That said, the network is still up and running, and more optimizations are on the way to improve behavior under heavy load. And finally, a big thank you to everyone involved - these findings were possible because of your efforts.

Meanwhile, I'm doing 20–40k TPS per shard on @MultiversX's latest internal Supernova network 😅 I guess people are always ignorant and try to do it themselves without even looking at all the solutions, yet have the balls to announce how they're beating everyone without any live product under real-world stress test with complex execution and so on... I guess that's how US marketing works, right?
raz@ryanzarick

The performance limitations of our industry – capped at around 10K TPS across all existing blockchains – cannot serve systems that demand millions of transactions per second. This means the largest organizations in the world cannot move onchain despite wanting to. We are offering the scale of legacy finance at the speed of the internet, with the underpinnings of the principles that matter. Zero is decentralized, permissionless, and censorship-resistant. It is the last blockchain because it is the first to scale to house all operations for systems like the NYSE, the DTCC, and Citadel Securities. Adoption of Zero isn’t about tokenization or a simple stablecoin implementation – it is about replatforming entire business models onto what we believe to be a better internet: blockchain. We can’t wait to bring Zero to the world later this fall with our world-class partners, who are genuinely the foremost experts and leaders in how markets work. I can’t think of a better group to build solutions with during the transition of global markets onto permissionless infrastructure. Much more to come. It’s time to build without compromise at scale.

Anthropic has quite a large open-source repository for Claude Skills with 81.2K+ Github stars 🌟 These "skills" are predefined folders filled with specific instructions that the AI loads only when needed, on the fly to handle specialized tasks like creating documents or testing web apps. Instead of typing out long prompts every time you want to format a document, the system learns your workflow once and executes it automatically. There is also a specialized skill designed specifically to help you build brand new skills from scratch. The architecture is highly efficient because each skill only consumes about 100 tokens just to read the basic metadata. This setup means the full instructions are only loaded into the active memory when the specific task actually requires them. Your main context window stays entirely clear of unnecessary instructions until the exact moment they are needed. Developers install these tools using a single terminal command so they work seamlessly across the web interface and the API. You build a specialized capability once and it becomes available across your entire software stack immediately. This shift toward dynamic memory loading provides exactly what the industry needs to move past basic chatbots into reliable software systems. It directly addresses the scaling bottlenecks of context window limits while standardizing how enterprises deploy AI across different departments.
