The 2026 Sansone Jr’s Auto Group Senior Boys Basketball All-Star Game is set for March 24 at Brookdale Community College. The game, organized by both SSI and @JSBLhoops will once again be played in honor of legendary Neptune head coach Ken O’Donnell with two scholarships being awarded in his memory.

Per the NJSIAA website: The South Jersey Non-Public A Championship Game between (1) Red Bank Catholic and (2) St. John Vianney has been moved to Jackson Township High School on Monday, March 9th, at 7 p.m.

Imagine how incredible the crowd and atmosphere would be if the game was played anywhere in Monmouth County whether it was at RBC, Brookdale, or a neutral high school? No doubt the 60-90 minute drive will keep a lot of Shore Conference fans home that would go if it were local.

It’s understood there is a lot that goes into reserving neutral site facilities well in advance for the state tournament so not blaming the NJSIAA , but it is disappointing that RBC vs SJV Round 4 is scheduled all the way down at Lenape after seeing the atmosphere at Monmouth U.
