Do Homeschool kids just like, not have to take tests or exams or get grades? How does the government know if the child is actually getting an education and not just like, being neglected

Show me $1 million USD Iquud to have peace of mind to buy in a scenario like this

no shade but why would i literally ever buy a home… you still have to pay a mortgage monthly that would be the same cost as just paying rent atp. and at least with renting, the expenses for anything that goes wrong falls into the landlord instead of on you

And many of the poor performing students have bad parents, which would be shared among those that chose to homeschool as well.

You keep talking about data on public schools precisely because that data is collected, by law. Homeschools have no such data, so why should I believe they are better?

I’m fine with letting the parents that want to jump through the hoops and fill out all the paperwork needed to setup homeschooling to make that decision. Good parents go a long way in both instances

You’re operating from public school is good therefore homeschool is bad. But the truth is public schools are below average in many areas

That means you take the kid who's parents don't care and who is absent 120 days a year with the NHS members. The idea that its comparable is completely fallacious. In my anecdotal evidence, the home school kids I’ve met seem to be bright kids. And let’s not act like public school is in a good spot right now
