There's also a reason that 33 years later I am still married to the same woman I was then and with one exception they are or were not. I didn't hang out with them, never tried. They were veterans, I wasn't. I was too young for that group and also newly married and actually in love with my wife.

Never understood H.S. coaches who ignore freshman or JV programs. That’s the future of your varsity team. Then they complain about no depth, culture, or players ready for varsity. If you only coach varsity, you’re not building a program—you’re just coaching a team.

Been coaching baseball for 35 years. I can confidently say … The same fundamentals that won baseball games in my year #1 still wins them today. Even more so now, because others are neglecting the basics at an alarming rate. So many are mistakenly seeking a magic potion. When doing simple better than everyone else is the key. On offense, defense, team play, etc.

CB South JV take the first two games df the series against Pennridge. Pat Larkin with two more hits, Brandon Schwalm with his second save in as many games, and Jake Scharff pitching 6 innings of one run baseball.

CB South JV open the Pennridge series with a W. Shane Day with another strong start. Brandon Schwalm with the Save. Pat Larkin led the offense going 2 for 2 with 3 RBI.
