The texture is a little bit off and the lid opener is both part of the 3D model and the texture which is my fault, but otherwise I think it’s incredible what we can create. Imagine how this can be used in UI design!

AI is already great at reproducing what works. It still struggles with the original leap that makes something feel truly new. Maybe that changes. Maybe it doesn’t. For now, more AI-built products still means more need for designers with taste.

so far at least, i'm pretty sure AI has been net job-creating. this was not what i expected--although i was much less pessimistic than others, i thought by this level of capability we'd have seen some impact. it is possible this direction keeps going!

I just got my MRI scan and did the same thing ... and the (german) clinic was blown away by my viewer. I can browse every scan, hover to autoplay slices, search anything, scribble notes, stamp findings, and screenshot moments instantly.

My annual MRI scan gives me a USB stick with the data, but you need this commercial windows software to open it. Ran Claude on the stick and asked it to make me a html based viewer tool. This looks... way better.
