More than 5,100 pubs have seen their rateable values **double**, the head of the Valuation Office Agency has said Jonathan Russell said that one in eight pubs saw their rateable values increase by 100%. On average they rose by 32% The government has said that it was unaware of the full facts of the revaluation But the Valuation Office said it informed both the Treasury and MHCLG what was happening at a sectoral level and was “very clear” on what the impact of the changes would be

If the Business Rates U Turn is only on pubs, the rest of the sector will be up in arms!
It has to cover all Hospitality.

Does anybody else feel like the Labour are fixing 14 years of the vile Tories?
The roads in my area have been resurfaced and their are fewer potholes.
I have seen new housing estates appear around the North West as I travel around.
Public sector workers have had pay rises.

Wages growing faster than prices. Jobs up. Inflation down. Interest rates down. NHS waiting lists down. Houses and infrastructure unblocked. Free breakfast clubs rolling out. National Living Wage increasing. National Minimum Wage increasing. Defence spending increased. 2 million more NHS appointments delivered. Housebuilding to be at the highest level in 40 years. People to be £500 a year better off.
The Tories blocked change for Britain. My Labour government is delivering it.
