Don't forget Dr. Hussam. "Please watch the full video just once, and then ask your heart if silence is truly the right choice. A man who raised his voice for humanity is now the one in need of humanity’s voice. Dr. Hussam dedicated his life to helping others during unimaginable suffering, yet today he needs the world to stand for him. Silence may fade stories away, but your voice can keep hope alive. Speak up for Dr. Hussam. Share his story. Let humanity be louder than fear. ⚠️ This post is shared for humanitarian awareness and peaceful advocacy only. Every share, comment, and voice of support matters." ©silentcriesloud Free Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya

Good news
Emoluments Clause@Emolclause

#BREAKING: McKinnon: “…It’s so much different this time. First of all the environment is different, it’s really bad for Republicans. #Talarico is an exceptional candidate…and Paxton will be way less popular than Ted Cruz was, and here’s a very interesting data point which Karl Rove pointed out in a WSJ article yesterday. When #Paxton ran on the ticket in 2018 and 2022, he ran 150,000 votes or more BEHIND EVERY other Democrat on the statewide ballot. That’s amazing, and he was the AG, so you would think he would be much stronger than the rest of the down ballot races…He’s going to be a HUGE DRAG on the ticket and by the way, he’s a terrible fundraiser…and Talarico…has ALREADY raised as much Beto did the whole entire race.”😳

This morning in Khallet al Hummus: Soldiers arrived on privately owned Palestinian land following a settler incursion, then confiscated sacks of wheat harvested by the landowners, tore them open, scattered the grain, and threatened the residents.

#TalaricoForTexas Don't vote for #PedoProtectorPaxton he is the most corrupt politician in Texas, and THAT says something.
DevilDog Diaries🇺🇲@cjdelgross

So what does a $3,000,000 payoff buy you? Just weeks before the 2023 impeachment trial, a pro-Ken Paxton PAC handed Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick $3M in campaign cash and loans. Coincidentally, Patrick and the Senate rewrote the rules to ensure Paxton walked free. Here is how the trial was engineered from day one: The "Wife Math" Trick * Senator Angela Paxton (Ken’s wife) was banned from voting due to conflict of interest. * Yet, Patrick's rules forced her to sit in the chamber during the vote anyway. * By counting her as "present," the 2/3 conviction threshold stayed at 21 votes. * Her silent seat mathematically functioned as an automatic "No" vote. The 6-Month Jail Threat * Patrick slapped an aggressive, unprecedented gag order on the entire Capitol. * Any senator or witness who spoke out faced up to 6 months in a county jail. * He even banned live floor debate—senators voted in total, mandated silence. The Fifth Amendment Shield * Impeachment is a political process, meaning defendants usually must take the stand. * Patrick broke precedent and ruled that Paxton could skip testifying entirely. * This completely shielded the Attorney General from hostile cross-examination. The Hidden Charges * The Texas House sent over 20 serious articles of impeachment. * Senate rules immediately sliced off 4 of the most damaging felony securities fraud charges. * The moment the rigged trial ended, those 4 remaining charges were quietly erased. The Bottom Line When the umpire rewrites the rulebook and banks a multimillion-dollar check from your biggest fans, the game is over before it even starts. The 2023 trial wasn't an execution of justice—it was a masterclass in institutional corruption that paved the exact runway Paxton is using to run for the U.S. Senate today.

One of the most deeply shocking scenes documented in this war. Children in Gaza hospitals, their small bodies trembling in fear after the bombardment, unable to comprehend the terror they have experienced. Do not stay silent…keep speaking about the children of Gaza.

It's a great time to be a Democrat in Texas. We have youth and energy on our side. The Republicans have a bunch of old faux Christian men who are desperately trying to cling to power.

@Acyn @schott_marty My understanding is trump blackmailed the governor. Trump said he would withhold and / or divert federal money from the state. It was a financial decision the governor made to keep his state fiscally viable. Nevertheless, it was the wrong decision. Never bend to trump.

@Acyn @AntiToxicPeople My only thought is...did Trump EXTORT or bribe Governor Polis in some way with a non-disclosure agreement to get his dirty job done & so that no one would find out the truth? This is Trump's pattern of dirty behavior. And we ALL know it by now!

@Acyn @AntiToxicPeople Put Governor Polis under oath & ask if Trump demanded this act through extortion or bribery. Investigate it... "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark". And I, for one, can SMELL it! It's Trump's pattern of behavior to use extortion, blackmail, bribery, sabotage, etc.
