I actually spoke with a dev at HCS about this exact thing and their reasoning was that they wanted to keep the art style consistent moving forward from Halo Infinite. No more jarring switches like from 3 to 4
However that makes sense for SEQUELS to Infinite Not a remake of a beloved classic. It should look like CE man

One of my favorite things about content creation Is when I create something on A game series that I truly care about, and people respond to It In such A positive way despite how critical It Is. Really allows for some real conversation around something we all care about.

It's genuinely impressive how confidently wrong people can be about a FUNDAMENTAL aspect of a series they claim to be a fan of.
Resident Evil has always had a wide variety of puzzles, originals AND remakes. Here's a bunch of them, not even all. Just what came to my mind.

Historically, Resident Evil has very few actual puzzles. Most of Resident Evil is "pick this thing up and bring it here." With that said...yeah, Requiem's only real puzzle is the achievement requiring two different playthroughs.

Resident Evil Requiem was far better than I thought it would be. Really looking forward to sitting down, and scripting out my review for this one. I have A lot of good to say about It. Though I do believe there was A few spots that could have been better with A few tweaks.

@GenePark I had a couple people in my chat say they weren't getting a $70 game that's 2.5 hours long and i'm like GOOD THING RE9 IS LONGER THAN THAT. They were directly referencing your tweets without saying it but I knew. I'm like he played that game for 80+hours lol.

Do players really hate time limits?
Our game has a 6-hour narrative timer, but each chapter has its own limit and time runs 10x slower in combat/menus.
Should be enough time to find an exit and use what time's left to explore!
How was the demo for you? Did you run out of time?
