Let’s be real for a second. I’ve been reading through some of the comments online and the level of hate Americans have for each other right now is honestly embarrassing. I’ll always be proud to be an American, but this constant division and disrespect needs to stop. You don’t have to agree with Donald Trump on everything, but mocking any president—especially after an assassination attempt—says a lot more about you than it does about him. That’s not politics, that’s a lack of basic human decency. The man didn’t need this job. He was already a billionaire. Agree or disagree with his policies, but acting like everything he does comes from some evil place while tearing each other apart as Americans is exactly what’s wrong with this country right now. At some point, people need to grow up, think for themselves, and start treating each other with a little respect. Because right now, the real problem isn’t one man—it’s how we’re treating each other.
