Okay yes it's clumsy to move the plot forward by comparison with other VNs but Emio improved that and I do like the Switch remakes of the first two nonetheless. There's something very satisfying about the way they do the final act each time.

Weirdly, Misty. Certainly for my generation, anyway. Game Misty and anime Misty are separate characters and unless Sakurai used a lot of imagination she would have very few moves, but in terms of pure recognisability she comes out on top.

@Jayarrpee @PokemonMasters If you complete a run and save a sync grid it'll work outside of Academy battles. But the units have never been very good for most content, especially late-game content. They're just there to be free units you can put work in to customize. DeNA wants you to scout the other pairs.

@HasslevaniaII @PokemonMasters Apart from that, is there something I've been missing to make the Academy Sync Pairs viable? Because every time it's seemed like their upgrades only take effect in Academy battles and they're completely inept outside of Pasio Academy?

@Jayarrpee @PokemonMasters You have always received four custom 5 star power ups each time you complete a 12 round Academy run. You need 20 of those to raise them to 6 star and unlock their EX.
