@SportsnetSpec I don’t think we have a goaltending problem …. We have a defence problem. Skinner didn’t suddenly become awesome in Pittsburgh. Jarry didnt suddenly become shit in Edmonton. There’s a common denominator here.

Re: goaltending down the stretch. Knoblauch confirms they’ll go with the hot goalie, rather than map starts out ahead of time. “The goalie who gives us the best chance to win.” The competition for that 1st playoff start is officially on in EDM.

@SportsnetSpec Hey skinner takes a lot of heat when he plays like shit…so be deserves some massive respect so far tonight. Should have been 3-0 NYR before we even had a shot on net. Not sure why we play far worse defensively when he’s in?

Good start here for Skinner who has faced the game's only high danger chances thus far. He was excellent against CGY as well in his last start - except for the one lapse. Yes, that "lapse" has to go.

For the record, the Bouchard goal never would have survived a review. Hyman skated into Ersson's blocker - not pushed in - and the puck went in blocker side. Even as an old school guy, that goal gets called back all day long.
