@willd268 The crowd generally at the moment seems apathetic but I think this is something that will get a reaction.

@willd268 Yeh I think so. I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all given how the SDs and owners are constantly using their friends in the media to defend their model without any consideration for the players or supporters views. Agree he wouldn’t be; he’s a limited player.

@Jet286 Cucurella’s comments are quite different and he’s right about a lot of what he’s said. Ironically though, I think if we’re to get to the level he’s describing, he wouldn’t be a key part of said team for me.

@willd268 If we sell him I imagine they’ll do there usual thing and brief that they’re after Onana or Tchouameni, knowing that there’s no chance that they will pay the wages that they want and then just sign Barco from Strasbourg and say it was the plan all along.

I find it odd how for some reason, for the past 10+ years, people have become completely obsessed with the idea of playing football in their own defensive third, and how finding ways to build out from there is the sign of a progressive and attacking coach. Of course there are very impressive things here. But this entire passage of play involved using many players and the ball stayed in the defensive third for the vast majority of it… When did people stop assessing how managers and teams attack, the actual final 3rd being the first thing they looked at?
