I hate to burst the bubble, but DEF isn’t going anywhere. OEMs like Paccar & Cummins have billions invested in emissions systems. They’re not scrapping that overnight especially when policy can swing back the next election cycle. That’s exactly why you’re seeing fleets load up on trucks before the 2027 emissions rules hit. You might be able to delete older equipment, but don’t expect to order a new semi or Pickup without emissions. I hope I’m wrong and would love to see it but I don’t see it happening.
