The former President of the United States, Joe Biden, wanted to start taxing housing, on an annual basis, on gains made in any increase in property value BEFORE selling the Home / Financial Asset. That obviously wasn't an election winning policy! Well, in true Davos / World Economic Forum style, the Dutch have brought in such a Law regarding Crypto, Stocks, and Shares. The upshot being that thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of Dutch people are going to be forced to sell their assets in order to pay the tax. Might this be being done in order that us little people will truly "Own Nothing and be very Unhappy"? I ask. Because very wealthy Dutch people and huge Corporations are likely going to purchase the crypto and shares "forcibly" sold, on the cheap, by the majority of people who simply don't have thousands of Euros sitting idle in their bank accounts to pay "Forward" taxes! IMO this is starting with crypto and shares, but is the forerunner to every European country bringing in Tax Laws forcing hard working, regular people, to pay tax for any gain in the value of their homes/property. And before our Political Class start using the usual slogan of "but we're in it together". Well, we ain't. Because the rules allow Politicians to accept "Interest Free" Loans from their "Friends". Meaning that a ten home owning Cabinet Minister, without a farthing in their Current Account, will be able to pay the Forward Taxes on increases in their portfolio with "a little help from their friends". Life, in the "Rich" Western Nations is hard. Might it be soon to get a Hell of a lot harder for the Bottom 99%? Methinks that the "elite" are planning on making 99% of Europeans poorer than the poorest African/Indian "work-to-eat" peasants!!!
