@Ricer18 100% !! Some of the best to come out of South Boston played street hockey every chance they could. Tennis courts became street hockey rinks, empty parking lots became prime spots for tournaments and even had small games in the streets when there were only 1-2 cars per 3 deckers.
I am strongly believing street hockey created better hockey sense
No gliding-You learned to wait
Weakside was a place to “hang out”
Cannot play “fast” all the time
Not dribbling what you could pass emerges
Slowing down foot speed/pace of play increased brain speed

Flaherty, joins with a mix of physicality, tenacity, and skill. This past season, Flaherty produced 18 goals and 30 points in 57 games. He is committed to Holy Cross for Division I hockey.
