@JonFell73 Yup! My initial guess of it going below $1 before March 17th was destroyed by FDA's proposed nicotine cap rule mid-January, giving it a short boost. Going under $1 for 30 days would seem to equal delisting - latest reverse stock split was Dec 17th 2024. wfw.com/articles/nasda…

But it seems to me that a company that is sinking like a stone and must repeatedly pull tricks--like reverse-splitting--to remain on the market would be an embarrassment to those that run the market.

@NannyFreeState @US_FDA @JonFell73 @whycherrywhy Reverse stock split today. To date: Jul 5th, 2023 (1 for 15) Apr 2nd, 2024 (1 for 16) Dec 17th, 2024 (1 for 135) The three combined is 1 for 32400. 32400 XXII shares bought prior to July 5th, 2023 would equal to 1 XXII share today.

@jkelovuori @JosephFuisz Yes markets do normally react swiftly but the tobacco sector isn’t that well covered so it is possible people didn’t pay that much attention initially. XXII did have a brief pop up, but as you say back down again now

@JonFell73 @JosephFuisz Again, not my area at all, but Tin's tweet was from before the market opened today. If the news had any effect I'd assume the stock price would at least be in the green by now compared to yesterday, but it's currently at -6% in the red. I'm assuming that markets react quickly?

@jkelovuori @JosephFuisz Well I'm not following it as closely as I once was but my guess would be a combo of 1) xxii losing credibility after its series of financial woes and 2) scepticism that this rule will survive the incoming administration
