கள்ளக்குறிச்சி மாவட்டம், கருணாபுரம் பகுதியில் கள்ளச் சாராயம் அருந்திய 25க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் காலமான செய்தி, மிகுந்த அதிர்சியையும் மன வேதனையையும் அளிக்கிறது. உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு எனது ஆழ்ந்த அனுதாபங்களைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்வதோடு, உடல்நலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருபவர்கள் விரைவில் முழு உடல்நலம் பெற இறைவனைப் பிரார்த்திக்கின்றேன். கடந்த ஆண்டு இதே நிகழ்வு காரணமாகப் பல உயிர்களை இழந்த துயரத்தில் இருந்து இன்னும் முழுமையாக மீளாத நிலையில், மீண்டும் இப்படியொரு சம்பவம் நிகழ்ந்திருப்பது, அரசு நிர்வாகத்தின் அலட்சியத்தையே காட்டுகிறது. இது போன்ற சம்பவங்கள் நிகழாத வண்ணம், இனிமேலாவது தமிழக அரசு கடுமையான முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொண்டு தடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்திக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
