@DearDara Actually the QWERTY keyboard was created to make it HARDER and therefore SLOWER to type because before laptops and smartphones there was chunky mechanical typewriters that would jam if you typed too fast.

Once a day I think about how the QWERTY keyboard put all the most used letters right together so that typists’ fingers would be less stressed and faster, ensuring that every goddamn time I try to type an I, O, or U on this goddamn tiny black glass box I hit the wrong one.
