Would be cool to see web3 gaming take off with only the top 2-5% of projects remaining 😍 Maybe that’s the way it’s got to be 🤔 Wonder how many
✌️projects✌️ will suddenly try make a comeback from the dead then ☠️🪦 🤔 I think ultimately you need the bad actors to leave the space before web3 can turn itself around. There was too much abuse of trust in this space. Too much taking without delivering anything meaningful. Still a lot of teams in the telegrams taking shit while they extract the last of what they can. A lot of teams just lock the chat without saying a thing no announcement no sorry we tried 🙈 you shouldn’t blame “sentiment” when you’re not creating anything meaningful not even trying to. Too many projects spent too much on marketing and not enough on developing. That’s a red flag. What’s the intention? Sometimes smoke is just smoke and no fire. Just sharing some thoughts and maybe venting a little.

Text prasers (am I spelling that right) were oddly effective way to play these games something was lost when they moved on from it. I think actually it removed a lot of discussion about how to solve something because it became so much more intuitive. This is one of my favorite games. This and maniac mansion from lucasarts.

Sierra was arguably the #1 studio for adventure games in the 80s and 90s. No other company created as many iconic titles (*).
Best known for King's Quest, Space Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry, Sierra also published the Quest for Glory series, the first of which was "So You Want to Be a Hero" from 1989 (EGA version).
Originally released as Hero's Quest, it is a hybrid adventure/RPG set in the cursed valley barony of Spielburg. You play a customizable adventurer - fighter, magic-user, or thief. The stats and RPG elements were a new element, diverting quite a bit from the more traditional Sierra adventures.
The land suffers under a curse from the evil ogress Baba Yaga, who retaliated against Baron von Spielburg after he tried to banish her. You explore the town and wilderness, solve puzzles, train skills, fight (or flee) enemies, complete side quests (helping locals, fetching items), and build up your character's stats.
Wonderful adventure with a nice twist of RPG, a new approach by Sierra.

I still think Sierra holds the crown for 80s plus 90s combined.

@alfinaldedylan He always had a tremendous amount of good will we lost him too soon. I think of him every time I smell cigarette smoke “that’s David shinning down on us from heaven” ❤️❤️❤️

@0xvalour Both. I prefer to play br on pc. My phone is temperamental and sometimes runs well and sometimes doesn’t. I like to play kart racing on my phone though. I have a backbone controller which makes for a good experience.
