I really can't stand this idiotic narrative that men not going to college is a crisis. It comes up a lot, especially in dating discourse. 40% of US college students fail to graduate. Additionally, half of those who do graduate wind up working a job that doesn't require a degree. I make more money than the median college graduate, and I didn't have to take on a bunch of debt or waste years of my life to do so. There are way too many people going to college and getting degrees that won't pay for themselves. And perhaps women need to get their heads out of their asses and realize that a man not having a degree doesn't mean he can't be a good husband. Sheesh. burningglassinstitute.org/news/half-of-c…

@estherzelda0514 Men are doing more of housework and childcare than ever before, by far. This isn't even getting into technology that made both easier. Don't know where people get the idea to the contrary.

The issue is that the bottom half of women are much higher achieving than the bottom half of men, yet women are still expected to work just as hard as men and do all the domestic and childcare tasks. So lower achieving women opt out from fishing through the dregs of male losers that are perceived to only decrease their living standards. Men could fix this by prioritizing education, learning to be more emotionally astute and supportive, and taking on more domestic and childcare tasks. Instead, the bottom quintiles of men have prioritized sports betting, crypto, gig work with no benefits, streaming, and consuming bottomless wells of manosphere slop that teach them that they have no responsibility to better themselves or offer anything worth having to women, who need to be viciously politically repressed and treated like garbage. And people wonder why the poor no longer get married and have children.

"Women aged 18-55 say the top reason they aren’t reaching their desired fertility is inability to find a spouse" Been saying this for over 15 years. In fact, I wrote a book about it. (OTHERHOOD, 2014)

@Nithya_Shrii Genuine answer - Water resistance. The phone is sealed shut with adhesive so water doesn't get in as easily.

Genuine question - why did companies stop making phones with removable batteries? Is there an actual technological reason or is it just another capitalism thing?

@Heccles94 Bro, a sudden solar surge in Spain actually fried their grid and caused the biggest power failure Europe had ever seen. This isn't a joke. Solar's lack of reliability is fatal.

I rented a room, slept on the floor, and grinded for 16 months. By grinded, I mean I lost 3 pounds while eating 24 cups of rice and 30 eggs per day. I commuted by bicycle to work while it was -30F outside. I worked until the skin on my hands fell off and then kept working. I did this in order to afford to buy a brand new minivan, appliances, baby supplies, furniture, etc all in cash, with plenty left to spare. Women could live well below their means to put in the surplus time and effort involved in preparing for a family, but they aren't.

Now that people are waking up to the fact that the birth rate issue is actually a marriage issue, the lengths people are going to blame women for the marriage crisis are insane lmao

@WomanDefiner Or you can just use helicoptors, drones, security cameras, etc to catch the perp when he inevitably stops. Plenty of jurisdictions have already done this and are just fine. You don't need kill switches or to endanger the public with idiotic high speed chases.

They're already trying to ban the grappler because one person died after it was used to disable their vehicle. If people keep banning these tools you're ensuring the kill switch will be in all new cars.

@kuraken20XX @isaiah_bb Every state has tax incentives for all kinds of businesses. This isn't an argument against data centers. Besides, they pay for their own electric infrastructure. Amazon built one here in Indiana not too long ago, and they paid for their own power lines and transformers.

@KBukele1367 @isaiah_bb They are built with massive tax incentives that leave taxpayers footing the bill. Many of these sweetheart deals include rebates on electricity usage, which are again, footed by the taxpayer. That's before getting to the noise pollution and water usage.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, roofing is a 0% female job. Every building you ever resided in and every roof over your head was built by men. Built using machines invented, engineered, and built by men. All using raw materials provided by men. Men are the only reason you are still alive. Guys, a word of advice: stay away from ungrateful man-hating harpies like this.
Negi💸@NM5WRLD

just found out only female cannabis plants make weed. Even men as plants are useless.

@micah_erfan No, they don't. We're rich enough now that we can largely prevent babies from starving (great!), but there is no right for a baby to not be abandoned and starve to death. Happened throughout all of human history.

People can disagree with this all they want, but it's just basic logic. You don't actually have a right to anyone else's labor, and scarcity will always exist. The South African constitution declares food a right, while the US constitution does not. Which location has the more abundant, secure food supply? Canada and European countries increasingly choose to just kill off patients because they're too expensive to treat. So much for healthcare being a right. The bottom line is that market economics is and always has been the best to secure the most abundance for the most people. Instead of bitching about rights, you should focus on making things less expensive. Stripping patents would do more to increase insulin accessibility than declaring it a right and throwing more money at it, for example. Like it or not, math is undefeated. Your feelings won't change that.

There are female-only scholarships and universities bend over backwards to cater to women. Every movie, TV show, and commercial tell women that they can do anything. Billions upon billions of dollars poured in, and they still don't want to major in many fields. I majored in physics at Brooklyn College, and there was one woman in the major. Are you telling me that Brooklyn, NY is a hotbed of misogyny? Brooklyn isn't feminist enough for you? Seriously? I can tell you from first hand experience that universities are extremely hostile to men. You are constantly at risk of being disciplined for merely offending a woman in any capacity. Don't insult my intelligence by telling me that women aren't welcome enough. Have you considered that women just truly don't want to major in electrical engineering? Hell, the percent of computer science majors that are women peaked in the 1980s! Are we as a society less feminist today than in 1980? How did that happen? Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, France, etc follow the same pattern. Is Sweden not feminist enough for you? Just stop this woke 1.0 bs. Women are telling you loud and clear that they hate physics, compsci, etc. Listen to them.

My graduating class of Aerospace Engineering at a university of 33k people was less 10% women. My university prided itself in having a high percentage of women in engineering majors at 25% and that was largely due to a biomedical engineering program that had a 50% ratio. I have been the only woman in an engineering department at two jobs. Our work is not finished. The STEM outreach is fantastic these days but the alctual engineering industry still has work to do
It’s Ma’am, PhDelightful 🇺🇸@ItsGoneAwry

The women seem to outnumber the men in Mission Control and are a huge part of this Artemis mission. I don’t think we have a problem with women in STEM.
