He notably on the KTDA Charity Stream, aside from being a head, is known for the 3d animated trailers you see when the final musical lineup drops, as well as doing 13+ sets for the December 2024 stream, where he first really got into his VJ Career, and grew a love for the craft. Some of the artists he has worked with on the stream include Croozshipp, TheBusiness., Butl3r (Himself), Darth Jader, Brotha Nature, Medicinal, Underlux, Sassfactory, Fractal Rain, Funkstatik, Foxx, Dev, and Krispee Biscuits just to name a few. In person, he has had the pleasure to work alongside Mocha at Mission Ballroom/Lost Lake/Larimer Lounge, Boogie Lights at The Ogden, Dev at Cervantes, Gar Den Boi at Lost Lake, and a couple of others. While he doesn’t have the biggest collection of original content, he takes inspiration from others in the visual community. 🔦👀 Visual Artist Spotlight 👀🔦 @Crystal Beth Medium: Touch Designer Bio: Inspired by the sounds of experimental bass and deep dub, VJ and visual artist Crystal Beth (Beth Salapek) supplements traditional design with cutting edge programming to create one of a kind visual art. Her visuals and installations come to life through the influence of their environment, flowing with the movement of the bass line or audience. Her style is influenced by her own curiosity of the unknown and the unique combination of past and present digital art, she pushes pixels into nostalgic digital glitches and mystery glorpscapes. The way she combines art and technology composes an immersive, mind bending visual performance that can only be experienced live, unifying her curiosities with the experimental nature of the music that inspires her. She has been a part of quite a few notable events, including this year’s Submersion Festival and Sound Haven where she provided the visual accompaniment for Criso, Lowcation (b2b with Tyler Reino) and Mindset, among others. Currently, Beth is Night Therapy’s creative co-director, where she creates interactive art installations and visual performances at their events. She is also a partner at Neuro Studio, where she’s a part of the Regrowth. project which benefits rebuilding Asheville’s River Arts District.
