You guys used to insult and call ANC deployees incompetent and corrupt. The DA is faced with a scandal at PW for Baecations, plagiarism at communications and text books tender being gifted to DA aligned individuals and all of a sudden the narrative changes ?

We all know ministers do not sit in Bid adjudication committees or Bid specification committees. Today, you guys know this very well when it is the Democratic Alliance being labeled as corrupt. You didn’t know when it was ministers coming from the ANC.

@tumisole It gets worse when you look closely, where is the BEE certificate of this company? You can't be non-compliant and be able to obtain a BEE certificate. I know this because I have an 11 year old company which I have been compliant all these years. Let's dig a little more

Shifting goal posts! When it was us you said the buck stops with political head. When it’s @Our_DA is different standards. We are not suprised
Peter Carswell@pete_carswell

@zilevandamme @Mikedotcoza How much do the political heads get involved with procurement? The problems tend to come in when there is political interference. Looking forward to seeing whose fingerprints are found on this one.

Oh. We no longer hold Ministers accountable for tender irregularities, it’s DGs now? Damn all those Ministers through the years owed apologies for “heads must roll,” “fire him/her,” “x must fall”, court cases, marches, speeches etc. What a time to be alive.

If DA deployed Ministers aren’t taking their partners on Baecations using taxpayers funds, they are giving inexperienced companies businesses. In-between their efforts to plagiarise AI policy drafting, they are finding themselves in a corner unprovoked.

Lighthouse Publishers for a R285 million tender,a Cape Town based company that was registered after the tender had closed, Michael Kasango Mugoya owns 51% and is a student in China, Georgia Groome owns 49%. Are the allegations true ? And why do you release a statement with half truths and not tell the public what happened? How long is the investigation going to take ? Go to the CIPC website , print the info of the company, get the advert of the tender, show it to the public , or you need assistance with that ?

[BREAKING NEWS] DA Awards A R1.6 Billion Tender To its “Funders” ‼️‼️‼️ The Department of Basic Education has awarded 26% of a R1.6 billion textbook tender to Lighthouse Publishers (Pty) Ltd allegedly funding DA, a little-known company with no proven track record, which was registered shortly after the tender was announced. What is even more telling is the silence that follows. When corruption allegations involve certain political actors, particularly the DA, the mainstream media suddenly go quiet. @Newzroom405 👀 The same institutions that are quick to amplify “scandals” elsewhere become hesitant, selective, and subdued - exposing a troubling double standard in how corruption is reported and scrutinised in South Africa. #RegisterToVoteEFF on registertovoteeff.org.za
