The dispute relating to the Centre’s decision to resume and re-enter the Delhi Gymkhana Club premises at Safdarjung Road has reached the Delhi High Court Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi mentioned the matter before a Bench of the Delhi High Court on Monday and informed the Court that a civil suit has been filed challenging the government’s action concerning the club premises. Taking note of the submissions, the Bench agreed to hear the matter tomorrow. The petition has challenged the government order directing to vacate the premises

I have no issue in @DelhiGymkhana retaining the right to use the said 27.5 acres land. However, it must pay land rent of 12% pa i.e. ₹2,000 crs monthly. Or they can pay GoI ₹2 lakh crs to buy the said property. Over & above that they must pay property tax on that land.
