One of the biggest threats to Christianity isn't atheism either. It's fake Christianity. It's a version of faith that wants the crown but dismisses the cross. It's a gospel that promises comfort but never calls people to true repentance. It's a walk that celebrates belief but never demands faith (in Christ). It looks polished, impressive and it fills mega-churches. They have lights and smoke and perfect transitions and trending messages and/or sermons that are crafted to go viral but not to go deep. It's a church experience that entertains your senses but never confronts your soul. Many don’t realise that you can have the atmosphere and still miss the presence. You can have a full room and still have empty hearts. You can have the applause and still have no transformation. So you need to be discerning, be weary of those voices that constantly say, “God is telling me” or “God just showed me”, better still, “God wants you to know this” as if revelation is being produced on demand. Becareful with platforms where it feels like truth is being improvised in real time, as if God is adjusting his voice to match the moment because God does not contradict Himself and He is not dependent on a stage to speak. Anything that claims to be from God must align with what God has already said. There is a difference between revelation and performance dressed as spirituality (that is the danger).
