The problem with Barcelona is not that we lost ‘grimaldo’ no one cares about him ! The problem is that we are losing options incase someone leaves with the excuse that the summer is long and we are focusing on Julian Alvarez. By the end we will panic and overpay or not get anyone because no one is left and other teams don’t wait…

I honestly don't know much about this Jorge Salinas we're trying to sign, but from what I've seen he looks more like a left-back who can also play as a left-sided centre-back. My feeling is that we're signing him primarily for the LCB role, though I could be wrong.
He could definitely help there, but to me this feels more like a squad-depth signing. I still think we need a more experienced, proven left-sided centre-back rather than relying on another young talent coming from the second division.

@KeelyDaley10 Well when you’re telling me Grimaldo is better than Cancelo, Alvarez can’t take any set piece that’s not a direct free kick even though he’s Atleti primary set piece taker, and that Gordon is a touchline winger that’s gonna be holding width and there no need for the LB to do it..

@Hunter05Q No player takes one set pieces for the entire team …. Alvarez is a ST n ain’t taking no corners at Barca nor an indirect free kicks nor a cross ….. Anthony Gordon is at the club which is another winger who gives us with …. So it does change the teams dynamic

Grimaldo is more of a inverted midfielder from the LB I don’t think he can hold width like cancelo can as well as cancelo being able to beat his man 1v1 along with great crosses from the left

@Hunter05Q Cancelo ain’t better lol sorry to tell u that especially as a LB …. And set pieces include both direct and indirect free kicks …. Corners and Crosses ….. Not to mention he’s left footed that helps on different angles as an advantage…Alvarez ain’t a set piece specialist

@KeelyDaley10 I think Cancelo is better than Grimaldo and already proven in our system and from the reports we are gonna get Cancelo less than 10m I feel like Cancelo is the better move than a Grimaldo especially if Alvarez is coming in to take set pieces

@Hunter05Q Nope … you have that profile in Balde already … Grimaldo does get up n down n he compliments the opposing profile you need for low blocks and very organized teams not to mention his setpiece and delivery quality for 10 mil …ex La Masia and Spain international … Huge L Barca
