Kendra Cook of Silver Lake had quite the career for the Eagles and a fantastic postseason run in her senior season. Silver Lake entered the 2025 3A state softball tournament as the #7 seed and upset #2 seed, #3 seed, and took the #1 seeded Frontenac to an extra inning showdown before falling just short in the title game 2-1. Cook was phenomenal in the circle all year striking out 160 with an ERA of .642. She also batted an impressive .433 on the year. Cook is heading to Washburn next year to continue her softball career at the next level. #sportsinkansas
