There have been some amazing Labels Off events, looking at the history and style of West Coast IPAs, tasting them without any prejudice of who brewed them.

This was an amazing tasting to take part in, and probably the most critical!
With one table full of commercial brewery staff, another full of dedicated homebrewers, and the third of keen drinkers, there was nowhere to hide!

It was a close race but a delicious Track beer came out on top! And interestingly enough, the one actual bona fide American West Coast was the least popular!

What a great inaugural Labels Off evening we had last night! 🍻
72 cans of beer were stripped of their identity (that was a job!) & served to our beery guests over the evening. Plenty of water was consumed too, because those Westies can be pretty drying! 💦
