Doesn't look like latest version of 'python-psutil' is working with #raspberrypi, need to investigate.

Buttons now working - now to set-up 'python-psutil' module.

I've managed to control the VFD from #raspberrypi using the 3V serial line, but cannot get keys to function as yet.

Great news (for me anyway), a #raspberrypi was despatched from Farnell yesterday - I am very fortunate.

I'm going to try a 3rd party class 'psutil' for system data retrieval, the documentation looks like it should be easy enough.

I'm now (finally) going to create some 'information screens', beginning with CPU.

Today I've implemented the settings file using ConfigParser, and added debug logging. I've also created a simple graphing routine.

Still no 100% sure on the what to display on the 'Info Screens'. Must have CPU/Network/Disk Usage and I would like PSU voltage.

OK - Finished the menu system, just need to use ConfigParser for saving settings Then onto the Info Screens.

Farnell delivery for my #Raspberrypi now put back untill 2nd week in May. Disappointed, but also thankful I don't have to wait much longer.
