@Apparentthreat Great question! We made the design shift on the mute/ringer control cover back in 2019 with the release of the iPhone 11 series of devices. And we only ever do such things if we're confident they'll enhance the overall experience, so you should be good to go!

@LifeProof When did the Mute switch design for the iPhone cases change from the rocker to the knob? The repeatedly-failing design of the rocker is what made me move away from the brand in the past. Curious if the knob leads to far fewer failures and warranty replacements.

@LifeProof I’ve had two of your phone cases. Both times the bottom flap you open to put your charging cord in has broken off. The first time the whole thing came off. This time the top part has a piece broken off. What can you do about this?

New phone today! So long to my trusty ol' Galaxy S8 I've had for nearly 5 years!. Got her in March 2018. The pandemic hit in March 2020 just as I was eligible to upgrade, so I held on. Was with me for articling, Jets' playoff run Scotland, Lambeau, COVID & a few Lifeproof cases.

@LifeProof I’ve had multiple cases and the same problem has been happening. The front of the fre case has been degrading and becoming sticky after a couple of months I’ve just recently received an I phone 11 but I’ve had an 8 plus case before and no problems

@Tweet_0100 We get it—it's tough to wait for something you're excited for. With a waterproof solution like this case, we like to take even more precaution than we already do to make sure the design and protection is all just-so, which is why this model takes a bit longer to get to market.

IDK why @LifeProof no longer makes clear-backed waterproof cases. They made one back in ~2013 when iPhone came out w/colors. But since then, iPhone has several colors, while LP continues to only sell their 💧proof cases in solids which hide the phone’s color. Feels shortsighted.
