Not sure if fireflies are rare in the US. But they are super rare in Taiwan. I’m extremely excited to see them today! #summertime

It was the Information Literacy Week in #W200 last week! Students used their info lit skills to identify fake news in a breakout box activity! Thanks to ULA @GrimeMadi, who revived this activity after COVID, and all W200 AIs for running this innovative activity! #educw200 #ISTAIs

Yesterday IST welcomed Professor Anderson (Associate Dean for the Office of Undergraduate and Teacher Education) and Dr. Hauswald (Superintendent of the Monroe County Community School Corporation) to class! The pair visited #educW200 and spoke about K12’s current trends & needs.

One of my previous W200 students shared a video about the topic of learning styles with me today. It is insightful! I'm planning to include this topic in my class. youtube.com/watch?v=rhgwIh…

@CSEduc_Matt Ha! I would be a ☹️ because I borrowed books a lot when I was in Taiwan. In fact, the inside of this library looks very similar to the library in Taiwan. I was using my phone reading the news in Taiwan in the library yesterday, for a moment I thought I went back to Taiwan. 😂

@cjturner1212 @CSEduc_Matt You can also link some of your work in Google Sites to your ePortfolio, too! :)

@CSEduc_Matt A1: Hello, I am Cameron, and I have seen #edtech used a lot to improve the learning experience. Creating a Google Site to collect and store my lab work for physics gave me a better understanding of physics, and it also allowed me to be creative too.
English

@CSEduc_Matt A2: #edtech is useful to give all different learning types an equal learning opportunity. This makes the classroom more inclusive because it gives more students a fair chance. #edtech can promote diversity by giving us a variety of perspectives. #W200 #Fall21SlowChat

@cjturner1212 @CSEduc_Matt Great example for professional development!
English

@CSEduc_Matt A5: To develop my skills with #edtech, I will engage in various podcasts due to their convenience and versatility. There are so many podcasts about education and technology that it would be a perfect way for me to continue to develop as a future educator. #W200 #Fall21SlowChat

@Roselysung1 @CSEduc_Matt @WeAreTeachers All teachers need good quotes and things to make us smile now and then. 😉

@CSEduc_Matt Q3. I will integrate CS in my elementary class by doing activities in the computer and using scratch to create fun projects. #W200 #fall21slowchat
English

@CSEduc_Matt Q1. My name is Rosely sung and I am studying elementary education. I have seen my teachers use #edtech by using Peardeck or Jamboard in the classroom.
English

@laurenmschram @CSEduc_Matt I'm glad to know that you may use Scratch in your future classroom! It requires some time to design but it has great educational value for students!
