🚨 The Spanish football federation have removed the olympic track from Sevilla’s stadium La Cartuja, replacing it with more seats for fans instead. The act could serve as an example to other Olympic stadiums that are not really used for Olympic game purposes.

High-scoring hype, but defense is the real Six Nations casualty. The Six Nations tournament has left many fans hailing it as one of the greatest, driven by high-scoring matches and controversy. But let’s examine what’s really driving this narrative. The obsession with tries and attacking rugby has led to a tournament where defensive solidity is often overlooked. The kit clash added to the spectacle, but detracted from the rugby. Teams are rewarded for their inability to stop opponents rather than create opportunities. Their style of play lends itself to high-scoring games, but it’s backfired on the biggest stage – there’s only one World Cup trophy amongst them, a testament to their inability to defend when it matters most. Perhaps it’s time to acknowledge the Six Nations’ success is built on high-scoring games and defensive frailties. The Springboks proved that with 14 men and a rock-solid defense, you can take down the best – including Six Nations champions. A balanced game, with solid defense and potent attack, is what makes rugby great.

Scotland stopped playing in the last 10 minutes. Made France put up a respectable 40 points.
