@tomhaberstroh Why not just show every team’s post‑ASB record, or use the last 25 games for all of them? The point still holds — but using different sample sizes for each team introduces obvious selection bias and weakens the argument.

8 wildcard teams have made the NFL Championship Games since 2000, and 5 of those went on to win the Super Bowl. Yes the AFL Wildcard Week is a cash grab - of course it is. But it also lengthens the season for teams on the bubble with more meaningful games later on in the season, and - once you're on a run - anything can happen...
