After his January date was derailed by a winter storm, the canadian powerhouse, Weska is finally making it to Pittsburgh. This time we're bringing the party to SideQuest on 44th for the first time for the rescheduled show. Friday, April 17th, Longturn hits Lawrenceville for a night of groove-driven techno and heavy-hitting progressive house. With releases on Drumcode, Experts Only, Realm, Factory 93, Arcane, Bedrock, and his own HYPERWAX imprint, plus support from Adam Beyer, John Summit, Gorgon City, and so many more, expect relentless energy and immersive soundscapes that'll keep you locked in all night. Rounding out the lineup is our own Koopmusik coming off a magical final night at Cobra - this time b2b with Khan Kuma for a unique techno set from the two of them together. MAJOR UPDATE for this Saturday's show! We have to share some very unfortunate news for this weekend's event: Ammo Avenue will no longer be able to make it to the United States due to visa issues. It's a major bummer as we were really looking forward to having him in from Peru, but Riva + Bianca (Solar Sounds) will be taking over the headline slot and they're more than capable to throw down in his place. We've also added Shargenol from NYC and local COPHA to the lineup to carry us through. No Trouble will still be opening, but under the new name "Plinkos". It pains us deeply to announce that March will be Cobra's last month of operation. However, we couldn't let such a special place—which we called home and meant so much to everyone in the community—close without sending it off in proper fashion. So we booked some of the biggest DJs across the globe and asked everyone who's been a major part of the space over the years to play one last time. Eight events across March every Friday and Saturday so that everyone has a chance to come say goodbye before it closes its doors for good. From fan favorites' Josh Butler, Drunken Kong, and Simon Doty, making their return, to newcomers you've been asking for in M-High and Alex Stein. Stacked local talent in Formosa, Hoagie Dreams, Good Sweat, ROJO, HUNY XO, Pink Camo, and many more to be announced. And of course a few surprises in store for the closing party on March 28th.
