Seeing the Mario Vs. Sonic debate has been really fun to watch, so I'm deciding to add fuel to the fire :)

Also emulate if companies are greedy and either lock the original experience behind a crazy paywall, or if they don’t offer it legally at all!

My philosophy is that I’ll emulate if I can’t get my hands on original hardware and games, or if the game is not worth buying but I still want to experience it (like Sonic Boom)
I jumped through hurdles to emulate MSG4, and due to that experience I will buy a proper copy!

Although this is true for a chunk of my library, without emulation, I would’ve never been able to play a huge portion of games. I imagine out there, there are many like me, growing up poor and utilizing Emulation to this day. I’m even playing some emulated games now!

the thing about pc emulation is that it is indeed incredibly easy. but You Will download retroarch (+ standalone emulators) and You Will download every core you need and You Will download every game you wish to emulate, and then You Will Not Play Any Of Them Ever
